Selecting Necessary only still stores your decision, so the banner knows it has been answered. This record is local to Vokeluma and includes a version and time, not an email address or the candy details you noticed.
A separate display note
Allowing preferences enables the reduced-motion record. Turning permission off removes that separate record. You may still adjust the display for the current page without saving the adjustment for another visit.
An important lifespan detail
These Vokeluma settings have no automatic time-based expiry in the page code. They remain until removed, blocked by the browser or replaced by a new choice or record version. They should not be confused with a one-year cookie.
